Yes, you heard it right, the new Minecraft update for April Fool’s 2024 has been released, and it turns Poisonous Potatoes into the material that the entire alternate world is made of. What does the Poisonous Potato update include?

The Poisonous Potato update adds many blocks, items, and gimmicks related to Poisonous Potatoes in the game. They include:

– The Poisonous Potato dimension
– Building with Poisonous Potatoes and natural blocks
– The Poisonous Potato boss
– Poisonous Potato foods
– Potato shield, elytra, weapons, and grappling gun
– Potato benefit blocks
– Poisonous Potato ores, amber, and toxic resin
– Potato panels
– And more potato-themed things!

Access to the Poisonous Potato dimension is through the Potato Portal, which consists literally of many Potato blocks, such as grass peel block, terre de pomme block, potone, potone path, taterstone, and many more. There’s even a potato trunk block that can be turned into planks, slabs, stairs, vibrant green fences, and more.

The dimension doesn’t have a solid bedrock base underneath, and all the gimmicks have been reshaped to fit it. You’ll also find villages inhabited by potato villagers. This dimension has multiple vibrant areas all made up of Poisonous Potatoes, as you guessed! However, some contain points of old debris blocks.

You can also craft a Potato Eye that will lead you similarly to an Ender Eye. The destination is usually far away and contains the leader of this dimension, the Giant Poisonous Potato Clay!
