That’s not a crossover, though it hasn’t stopped many from venturing into the world of top-tier comedy for a laugh on April 1st.
As always, those in the gaming sphere online were quick to join in too (and yes, that includes us at Nintendo Life). It’s still early in the day, but we thought it fitting to start compiling some of the greatest gaming jokes we’ve seen so far.

While we’ll have to wait another 150 years to see the final product (according to the announcement tweet), the team unveiled a “sample” of what’s in store, including an ad for the “Smell of the Game” fragrance.
